Marcello Morandini - Bianco e Nero
May 21 – October 3, 2006
Marcello Morandini is one of the most renowned artists in constructivist art. He works both as a designer and architect.
Coming from constructivism, Morandini devotes his work to elementary geometric shapes in form of black & white serigraphs, silkscreens as well as objects and wooden multiples. The shapes are often developed on the basis of individually constituted mathematical systems. The reduction of color to black and white thereby creates a focus on the shapes and their aesthetic value. The exhibition at the MUSEUM RITTER presents recent works from the past years in the large exhibition space on the ground floor.
