The Museum Ritter will exhibit works from the inventory of the broad-ranging art collection of Marli Hoppe-Ritter in rotating exhibitions. In addition to presenting and preserving its own collection’s inventory, the Museum Ritter will mount three to four special exhibitions per year. These will connect to themes specific to the collection. Showing historical developments in the area of geometric-constructive art is as much our goal as the presentation of the work of internationally important representatives in this artistic direction. Also planned are exhibitions with young artists. These exhibitions will clarify the meaning of geometric approaches for contemporary art and related areas. |
