rosalie is also internationally renowned for her work for the theatre, and has been attached to leading theatres and opera houses in Europe. Of especial significance for the aesthetic of this stage and costume designer are her definitive creation for Wagner’s Ring (Bayreuth Festspiele 1994 – 98).
Also key to her artistic output are a number of productions with contemporary music, which have opened up completely new forms of interaction between rhythm, colour and light – as experimental gesamtkunstwerk.

All in all rosalie’s artistic work is marked by an innovative way of breaking down of the boundaries. This has been manifested most recently in the spectacular light installations »HELIOS« and »SÉRAPHIN«, which have been permanently installed in the pavilions at ZKM | Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie Karlsruhe.
For the 3rd International Biennale of Contempoary Art BIACS in Seville, rosalie realised an extensively revised version of »HELIOS« – The Light that Dreams. A further future-based work in progress is her light installation »HYPERION« – a Composed Instrument of Light – on show from October 2008 at ZKM | Karlsruhe.
In Autumn 2008 rosalie was awarded the European Prize for Culture from the »Pro Europa« cultural foundation for her artistic oeuvre.
